Who We Are
GRiT Studio Collective is a South Australian company committed to providing professional theatre workshops for people 4+ wanting to have fun, learn, develop and enhance skills in performance and theatre making.

In a dynamic, collaborative, and nurturing environment learn various theatre techniques and task-base exercises to integrate the creative with the physical and intellectual and develop imagination, individuality, diversity, resilience, self-esteem and confidence.

We inspire, challenge and empower young people to have a voice, offering an alternative platform for exploration and development and building confidence, self-esteem, belief and resilience. We encourage collaboration by creative problem solving, learning through mistakes and evaluating ideas and beliefs through games, tasks, rehearsal and performance.
PROFESSIONAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE
Located in the historic Goodwood Theatre and Studios, students are exposed to professional performance surroundings, infrastructure and technical production elements.

Performance Art Workshops
The aim of our workshops is to have fun and develop and strengthen understanding, skills and discipline. All classes progress through important stages of development and ensure personal individual outcomes are met. Through communication, experimentation and collaboration the workshops will integrate the creative with the physical and intellectual by diversifying our perspectives, challenging our imaginations and nourishing our capacity for empathy.
All workshops will integrate the creative with the physical and intellectual, by underpinning each workshop evenly with these three key focus points and incorporating various methods and techniques, we will create a holistic approach to acting. Coming from the inside out.
Believe
5-7 yrs
Energetic workshops that encourage play, exploration and expression. Learn the foundations of performing and theatre craft and build confidence, resilience and empathy in a fun, inclusive and imaginative environment.
If you would like to give your child a creative outlet extending skills in speech, social skills and releasing energy in a positive environment, this is the workshop for them.
Imagine
8-10 yrs
Energetic workshops that encourage play, imagination and exploration. Delve Learn about the foundations of performance art, building character, improvisation and storytelling. Have fun and be challenged in this creative and imaginative space.
If you would like a creative outlet for your child that encourages individuality, diversity and self-worth in an inclusive environment then this is the workshop for them.
Performance Collective
11-15 yrs
This exciting, new workshop is for 8 to 18 year olds who want to perform on the big stage. Develop hands on performance experience with industry professionals and learn the process of script analysis, line-learning, character building, stage-craft, production and performance. Young people will be challenged and experience a professional production from start to finish. Participants will be inspired and guided by industry professionals and work together with likeminded individuals to rehearsal and create a high quality performance which will culminate in a performance outcome at the Goodwood Theatre & Studios on Friday 27th September for family, friends and members of GRiT.
